In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of “word for the day”. It's good, but not as good as this Chicken Pesto Ciabatta I just got at O'Henry's!

sounds like a case of either damn fine chicken, or darned clever euphanism on your part....

It was great...I wish they served that as a salad. It also had roma tomatoes and baby spinach. Without the bread it would be Atkins-friendly.

sounds really yummy. i have to stop at the grocery store on the way home. didn't have time to grocery shop bc we were away this weekend. Last night by the time we got out of the kids dental appts it was 6pm. and i got them dinner from boston market. if i am not in the house by 6pm, i am unlikely to cook dinner.

Speaking of euphemisms, this morning on the drive in, the morning radio guys were doing a...Bet no one listening has ever "been to Ohio" at an amusement park. They got a bunch of idiots calling in to say which amusement park IN Ohio they had been to. Not what they meant at all. Bham has it's share of idjits! They did get someone who had been to Ohio at a Stevie Ray Vaughn concert.....

Yes, it did. I have a lot of fresh basil to harvest within the next few days, and I was thinking of making pesto with some of it. I have never made more pesto than I need for whatever Italian dish I am making it for-does anyone know how long it will keep, or if it can be frozen and still taste decent when you bring it back to life?
