WN's approach was basically the one I was thinkin' of. But I guess maybe I need to just say it all. I'm going over on Saturday afternoon for a short visit. We'll see what happens. I'm kinda hopin' to get asked to stay for dinner (he'll be there), but that might be hard to rig without imposing.
God grant me strength!
Sometimes I really wish I wasn't so timid. And didn't care what people thought.

Ooops...actually, re-reading the posts, HAIR had the approach I was hoping to try.

Sometimes I really wish I wasn't so timid. And didn't care what people thought. Rosie, IMO, sometimes it's hard to get over a conservative upbringing in this area. Actually, I will say a lot of things to a lot of people that other's won't. But, when it comes to a few things, relationships with men being one of those few, it seems that my raisin' kicks in and I just clam up. I don't know about you but my Grama taught me that I would wait till I was asked about anything - not doing much in the line of anything more than idle flirting.
