I'm getting ready to hit the hay...and wondering if I'm gonna have to go to work in the morning or if the roads are gonna be glare ice or both. Sigh...
I'm especially worried because for the last week, we've NEVER gotten the predicted highs...which means if we DO get freezing rain, it may not turn to plain ol' rain and melt the ice like they're predicting. That would be baaad.

More updates on the
Flat Frodo site. Got SuziQ's Yellowstone report posted, and did some work on navigation redesign - added a nifty scrolling menu to the pages. Will be working more on our troop support pages in coming days. Stay tuned...

If it's REALLY bad, I imagine we'll hole up at work until the roads are good and salted. Provided I'm AT work, that is.
I worry more about other drivers...there are always idiots who think they can go the speed limit on glare ice. When it comes to ice, four wheel drive is worth nada.

Rain hasn't started yet. It's supposed to start after midnight. If the roads are truly bad, in general they'll close...but they have to be REALLY bad, especially as it's the last week of classes, and the last day for the majority of 'em. Not as many classes on Friday.
The worst of the rain is supposed to come during the morning, and then it's supposed to turn to regular rain and melt most of the ice by late in the day...however, we've consistantly had temps 10 degrees cooler than the projected highs, so we'll see.
