That was great! I missed the early stages of the fight in this thread, but caught most of the end. DU or Freeper, I love watching people loose their cool.

He has a budding dream we shouldn’t have stomped on it. I’m sure as time goes by and as it grows with experience, so will the art work. But, if you put your heart on the line you take the chance on getting hurt.

What’s the story with Marvel? I want to know before I go off.

What happen? What's with all the pulled posts?

I'm feelin' kinda down about this whole episode...like we let the Robinsons down somehow and overstayed our welcome. I suppose it'll all be brighter in the morning.

And we'll have a fresh start, which is always good.

OK! OK! Not stomped.
He was all for the pat on the back but threw a tantrum it the first sign of criticism.
Maybe he’ll know better the next time.

J. didn't get to the Berlin premiere because he had to work this week on "Princess Diaries Deux", but he flew out late last night to get to the London open. If we had made the Berlin prem, you can be sure there would have been headlines about Gimli calling Aragorn an ungrateful, uninformed, friend of our enemies. J. probably would have thrown a punch or two, so it's better he wasn't there.

Don't think Viggo gives a crap about his fan base or the movie or his career. He thinks he's a "poet" first, then a "painter" and "photographer" and finally...an actor. He also thinks he'll use LOTR to promote his poetry and paintings. That's what an airhead he is. I just hope their big mouths don't turn so many people off that it affects the movie.

In spite of Jackson's personal feelings, he shot the story as Tolkien told it so it still contains God, patriotism and the triumph of good over evil...no matter what they say to deny it.

Sorry Jim. I played a big part in this. I should've let it go. We'll do better on the new thread.

"To the end of his days Bilbo could never remember how he found himself outside, without a hat, walking-stick or any money, or anything that he usually took when he went out; leaving his second breakfast half-finished and quite unwashed-up, pushing his keys into Gandalf's hands, and running as fast as his furry feet could carry him down the lane, past the great Mill, across The Water, and then on for a whole mile or more. Very puffed he was, when he got to Bywater just on the stroke of eleven, and found he had come without a pocket-handkerchief!"
