The Hobbit Hole IV – The Road Goes Ever On…
Posted on 08/04/2003 9:43:18 AM PDT by HairOfTheDog
Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
The Road Goes Ever On
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

MS: "Austin" yup, that would be a good one. Well, you really liked the "Six Million Dollar Man?"
Had one black sheep, a cousin, in our family. He started out at A&M but transfered down the road. Spent the dozen or so years getting a degree, I think.

ecurbh and Hair, sittin' in a tree... You know, it's quite possible to fabricate a bracket to set a backgammon board on a tree branch.
Or maybe they're not playing backgammon in that tree...

So, CAN one seat one's guests in a proper circle in a tree with a backgammon board...that, my friend is the unresolved issue this evening.

Ten years ago perhaps I would have attempted to play backgammon in a tree and it would have been a prettier picture.... Now, it would just be good film!

When one only has a single guest at the backgammon board it is not necesary to consider circular seating. Athough as always, proper positioning of guests is a critical issue.
