You should see it come on and 'slow' you when you start up IE, and when you check mail.... if you don't.... I would wonder if it is on. Haven't used McAfee, but most of them announce when they are working.

Oh, I have a recurring virus that attacks my right eye, and it... recurred. Almost better now, though. At least I am no longer tempted to burn my own eye out to stop the itching.

It's a good idea to share pictures and voices earlier, rather than later, IMHO. Both of these can be done with reasonable safety and prudence. Well...we've done the voice thing. And we HAVE seen some pictures of one another, though maybe not as up to date as they should be.
But really, how up to date do they need to be?

Glad I checked in with you all...got the "pings" and was really blessed by the response from your son-in-law. Is there anything more we can do? It always brightens my day to hear from my s-i-l. I like for everyone else to hear since we're doing so much. As far as anything else to do... it's pretty much an ongoing project and whenever you have anything to add it's greatly appreciated.
One thing I am trying to stock up on is those little individual packets of Arby's sauces and Taco Bell sauces. The guys really like those and they make great "packing peanuts!" Other than that, I'm sending supplies and snacks weekly. :-)

Rosie, what does your McAfee say when you start up O.E.? Mine doesn't say anything.
For some strange reason, it starts up AIM now, when I start OE...can't figure that out.
