Hello. I am at my friend's house. Have to straighten things out. That person and wife are old friends of mine. Well - one of 'em is just real old period - and grumpy. They came to the house this afternoon. We have had a nice visit when Jr. wasn't yelling at me for talking too much on internet!!!!
he watches me over my shoulder now cause i'm on their computer. LOL he still thinks i am talking too much.
He is nice. Would help me out with anything in a heartbeat. Anyway, we been investigatin' the stuff!
Looks like weird rumors abound. Of course, pres is in residence so things are always a little different then. But, it seems like a lot of people heard that news report about the Saudi guy up there at the AFB by my other house and this is all coming off of that. Okay, there is no news. So, it's worth nothing. But, rumor says there was another report on that Dallas TV station after the one I heard about. They said they had caught the guy in question up here at Shepperd and found that he had high altitude photos of the ranch and the DC capital - not the state capital. But, he didn't seem to have flown over them himself. Oh, and of course it wasn't Osama now. He had connections to Osama. ???? well, whatever. nothing to it prolly.
So, that's the scoop. Nothing on the news at all. People like to talk. You know. But, it's been an adventure!!!
And we're fixing to eat a bunch of fried fish right now, so I'll talk to ya'll later. Ya'll don't talk bad about Jr. though. He's a good guy. Marine in Nam. he still ain't right. He IS a dwarf and doesn't know it. :-)

Taking another break and listening to one of the CDs I scored today. We went shopping and I got some brand new jeans at the thrift store for $4, and the music store had a bunch of CDs marked down to $3 and tapes for 99 cents! I got two of each.

Good grief! Over 3,000 posts already? Glad I made it back before we started talkin' about implosion!
We are back...sigh...I'll fill you in and post pics later. But I gotta go 1) get the film developed and 2) get parts to repair a toilet that was apparently running the entire time we were gone (grrrr...and there was people in our house - it's okay they wuz s'posed to be here - but they didn't hear it....).
Trip went well. Weather was mostly crap, but a few good days. Lots of driving with no mishaps 'cept this one SOB cut me off coming back into Richmond. I had the choice of 1) hitting him 2) hitting the guard rail 3) changing my route and driving thru town rather than the bypass. And dang it, didn't even have time for an appropriate "gesture."
I'll be back later tonite to catch up (or at least try). Then I'll post the Frodo story either tonite or sometime tomorrow (the toilet prolly means it'll be tomorrow).

P.S. Caught the cam pics Hair! Nice job. And it was great to talk with you (BTW, that was a nephew not the Mrs.)

Maybe Jr. will feel better now. I hope. He said to tell you he got this [insert expletives] piece of [expletive] computer for CV cause she kept bothering him for one. But, then it's gone and got him in trouble after only a few weeks.
He never tried to type before now. And he only went to school until he was 13. He was real upset with me because he thought I opened myself up to some danger. And he wants ya'll to know that he was just trying to do something about it.
So, once again! I have to prove that I can handle things myself to one of these guys!!!!! And of course he's reading over my shoulder!!! LOL He didn't think I could ride a bike back when I got my first bike either!!!! HA! He is running of at the mouth so right now I can't type fast enough to keep up!!!
Anyway, they have a freezer full of bass and we are about to chow down on a huge platter. AND - get this. Jr's been lurking here on the vet threads but CV is the one that was checking out the Hobbit Hole. She and I got a lot in common. So, since they are feedin' me fish, I just happen to have cookies with me that I brought from home. So, we'll have fish, and then cookies. :-)
Talk to ya'll tomorrow prolly. I think CV may come home with me till I get Frodo! That would be cool. She said she'd help me get all that stuff done in my classroom.
