The actors staring in the Lord of the Rings trilogy are die hard liberals. They walk around town wearing "no blood for oil" T-Shirts and what-not.

(yawn) Sean Astin and John Rhys-Davies, two of the major actors in the trilogy, are conservative. Many of the actors, most notably Viggo Mortenson, are liberal. So what? If you don't watch movies with liberals in them, you must not watch any movies at all.

The only one wearing the "no blood for oil" tee shirt was Viggo Mortenson (Aragorn). Also, the guy who plays Gollum was outspoken. However, I am not aware of the other actors voicing an opinion - though I don't doubt that they are, for the most part, liberals.

Actually, John Rhys-Davies (sic?) was rumored to be outspoken about his conservative politics on the set.
