Actually I'm being pretty tough on a co-worker right now. Sorry, but if you've been with this "esteemed" company for less that 4 years you don't know everything, so don't try to pretend to me that you do on a Monday morning.

I just think we should all feel so good about ourselves that we have the privilege of subsidizing such excremental drivel.

It would seem Bill Murray was showing sagacity in the following story (from the Chicago Trib so I think I'm not suppossed to post it in it's entirity)...
After throwing the ceremonial first pitch into the stands before Sunday night's game at Wrigley Field, actor Bill Murray went out to home plate for the pregame meeting with the umpires.
Before leaving, Murray managed to slip some money into the pockets of all four umps.
...but money spent on trying to help the Cubs win is never money well spent. Final score: Braves 7, Lovable Losers 2
To: Laura Earl
Well I certainly know that.

Dave walks into the bar and sees his friend Jeff huddled at the bar, depressed. Dave walks over and asks Jeff what's wrong.
"Well," replies Jeff, "You know that beautiful girl at work that I wanted to ask out, but I got an erection every time I saw her?"
"Yes," replies Dave with a smile.
"Well," says Jeff, straightening up, "I finally mustered up the courage to ask her out, and she agreed."
"That's great!" says Dave, "when are you going out?"
"I went to meet her this evening," continues Jeff, "but I was worried I'd get an erection again. So I got some duct tape and taped my pecker to my leg, so if I did, it wouldn't show."
"Sensible" says Dave.
"So I get to her door," says Jeff, "and I rang her doorbell. She answered it in the sheerest, tiniest dress you ever saw."
"And what happened then?"
Jeff huddles over the bar again. "I kicked her in the face."

I used to hate it when that happened.

Julian Bond sounds sagacious
Dissing Pubs to start a fracas
The fact that he's wrong
Won't be in the song
He'd rather sound so salacious.

I've been on the waiting list for the parking deck longer than that, and am now up to #80.
