I'm sorry, but no one in their right mind (including me in this instance) in the 'Frisco area dares stand around like that for long.

Whatcha ridin', Old Timer?
Don't you call me an old timer, you young whippersnapper :-) Current ride is a 94 GL1500, martin. Got off cruisers onto the wing that year after taking a short 3,000 mile cruise that killed my butt (Note: Your butt can go fast once you pass 50. The year before did a 4K cruise with no problem). The ride's been a good one - all I've had to do is change the fluids and keep good rubber on.

Which one? Lawrence Xpwy? It was southbound 101 transitioning to 237 and was on a Sat or Sun - probably the only reason I didn't get run over, 'cause traffic was light.
Don't have time to go into my lane-splitting incident between two 18-wheelers. That one taught me to be a mite more careful.

I do like those Gold Wings -- hope to eventually own a maxed-out 1800.
Have occasionally ridden with this bunch, who seem to tolerate me even though I ride a VT1100T. I like riding with them because they don't drive like maniacs. <|:)~

Me too. I'll never go back to a cruiser and probably have one more bike in my future before the rest of the body parts give out. It'll most likely be a wing. Also, check your FRemail in a bit.

*sigh* Do either of you two remember the days when Harley tourers were considered to be too heavy? Now, the FLHTC is considered the lightweight!
