We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
The United States has decide to try six suspected Al Qa'eda terrorists in military tribunals. The European Union has warned the United States not to use the death penalty or it would cause the international coalition to lose its integrity. [Ed. note: PUHLEASE!] Among the six designated are two British and one Austrailian.
An Iranian missile using a North Korean engine has been successfully tested. The tested missile has a range that will reach Israel.
And violence continues in Iraq: one American soldier was killed yesterday, and 12 wounded.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

WW2 Pacific movies never have had me enthralled, I dunno why :)
Maybe it's because the cahracters all have names like 'Shorty Long', and 'Lefty Wright', and 'Rusty Steele' and they all say 'Swell' a lot???

The yard guy cut the cable where it comes into the house. Panic ensued, but I was able to get it spliced before anyone went into cardiac arrest. ;>)

It appears my ISP has corrected the problem they denied they had. They insisted my computer needed attention. I was gullible enough to believe them.. Do you think my computer has majically repaired itself in the last three hours?

I got the cable fixed just in time for a Christy Lane commerical. I thought you would want to know I didn't miss it. 8>)

I just saw the Sandra Day-OConner clip. She might start thinking about her votes on the Supreme Court. That may have been a message. hehehe.

d didn't call to get the 'phone sharks' to stop calling, that is until today, she got TWELVE calls this A.M., 12. I guess she was fair game so they pounced. Wonder when they will start calling cell phone #'s.

(Today is a good day to be kind to a elderly person. A smile, a 'Hi' can mean the world to them.)

I did not cut any wires buy did 3/4 of my yard cut today before the monsoon set in. One more time cutting my yard and then its the renters time and I hope they keep it up as I do. I move in with d wed. Her house two house down from mine. I am going to have to put this place completly out of my mind.
Which brings up a subject I am going to have to face. Lifestyles. I have my set ways, they theres. I am going into their home to live and I do not expect for them to change so, I will do the life change. It is going to be hard but hey, I am lucky I have a family to take me in. I told d and she said I did not have to change buy lets face facts, I do have to change. Don't get me wrong, I am not a bad guy and don't destroy things if fact, I am a sweet, cuddly, loving, perfect daddy and grand daddy but I have been known to spill coffee on the carpet.

(Happy July 4th weekend to everyone and please, stay safe.)

I've thought often of the life style changed you will be facing in a couple of weeks. I'm not sure I could change at this late age.
Will you have a dedicated phone line for your computer so you don't tie up their phone line? What about your own TV w/cable channels?
Me? I couldn't do it. When I go to "the home" I will be sure to have a dedicated line for my computer, and my own satelite dish, assuming by then I can depend on a cell phone for my phone service. We will never get DSL here in the boonies and the cable service in town is so limited they might as well not have any. Life in Mayberry does have it's drawbacks.
I've just come in from moving the sprinkler hoses in the flowers. My hair is dripping wet with heat and humidity.

It is going to be difficult, but remember that you have your friends here on ATRW that will be praying for you.
I'm spending most of the day in the kitchen, practicing some things that I'll need for the new class that starts on Monday.

Barn project picture taken early this morning. The left red side of the barn was the original size...20x24. We are enlarging it to 38x24 with Sarah forking out the $$$$ and some labor when she is not wirking. :-) PB doesn't do anything except supply fertilizer and lots of love.

Hi all!
habs, some movies make more of an impression on me than others. John Ford often. He was like a painter with his details and skill..
Guenevere, you were right about the cover-up make-up. It's worked, and I had to use it on my arm, too, on a bruise I didn't even realize was there!
W. - Sorry I missed you. Stay cool, and do some more library FReeping, okay?
Yes, Nita I'm enjoying the boys! And going thru the kitchen and fridge - it's like a plague of locusts has arrived!
Jane & lysie, these daisies are way too tall for their stems. I'm going to look for some shorter variety.
I already have some doubles. But they're not as appealing for some reason.
If you get the name of that variety you recommend I'd be interested. Thanks!
