We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
The United States has decide to try six suspected Al Qa'eda terrorists in military tribunals. The European Union has warned the United States not to use the death penalty or it would cause the international coalition to lose its integrity. [Ed. note: PUHLEASE!] Among the six designated are two British and one Austrailian.
An Iranian missile using a North Korean engine has been successfully tested. The tested missile has a range that will reach Israel.
And violence continues in Iraq: one American soldier was killed yesterday, and 12 wounded.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
Yes, we do have meat counters. And yes, I can ask and get it done, but I shop right after school when I'm wearing my chef's jacket, and the supermarkets like to have "chefs" shopping at their store. But not if I'm in jeans and t-shirt at most places.
Yes, you are lucky to be in a place where they believe in service. It's sad to see service slip everywhere.

Now I remembered stories about tarantulas from my dad, who grew up in Texas. My husband's nephew was poking at one with a stick in order to get it to lift its front legs to fighting position, and I said, "You know they can JUMP, don't you?" You shoud have seen HIM jump! HA!
That night, my husband and I went to bed, and my husband was sleeping on his back. I turned over and placed my hand on his chest. He woke from a sound sleep screaming and jumping all over the place, brushing off what he thought was a tarantula! HA!
It's my opinion that it's a little of both. I have been following the Dem Wannabes fairly closely. And I volunteer for the Republican Central Committee to assist with Parades in little rural communities.
From what I've read in the small town press about his visits to Rural Iowa, Dean just doesn't have a lot of self control. A couple of times a week I read about him screaming at the top of his lungs, w/veins sticking out on his neck and beating his fist on the podium claiming that "We must take the Democratic (sic) Party back from the people who have stolen it from us".
And with about 15 years of volunteering to do Parades in little towns, I've learned to watch the volunteers for the opposition. Let me tell you, these Dean volunteers are zealots, but they don't seem to understand the goals of a Parade Committee. The Dean Volunteers slap some signs on the side of a car, and sit under a shade tree drinking beer until the Parade begins. Other candidate's parade volunteers arrive early, secure a place in line, then go out and work the crowds lining both sides of the street all along the Parade Route.
While I certainly don't expect a bunch of college kids or neophites to understand the "Grand Plan" of working a Parade,,, someone in the Dean Organization should be giving these people direction,, but no one is bothering to do so,,,, or perhaps no one in the Organization understands it.
Last week I was in Iowa City. Dean has rented an empty storefront in the Mall across the street from the University of Iowa central campus. The windows of the store were plastered with yard signs saying: "The Doctor has arrived. Vote Dean for President".
The Dean Headquarters was dark and the door was closed. This is really not all that unusual, since college kids are probably taking turns keeping the doors open.
The Des Moines Register this week conceeded that Dean is running neck and neck with Gephardt (their darling). It is going to be fun to watch how they handle this challenge to their annointed choice.
Black widows favor garages down here in North Texas. And I spend a lot of time in the garage.
When I get hit by a black widow, I don't always know it at the time. But I know it later. The spot gets red and sore, and I get some serious stomach problems and general weakness and aches.
I like your perspective from Iowa. Usually all we hear are a few blurbs on C-SPAN and whatever the papers tell us. It is nice to get INFORMED analysis.
Trust me, neither do I. But I get busy and forget to look, or there's just no way around reaching into a bad spot....
History Channel is doing a special on Mail Call from the Gulf. They just highlighted the function of the AF services guys over there.
