Are you an unemployed Freeper programmer? (vanity)

Our group's new HR budget arrived via email yesterday. If you are a Unix or AS/400 programmer who's made their chops in multi-million transaction environments (non-web), send me a private message with your email address.

We need 2 Unix programmers and 1 AS/400 programmer for our group in fiscal 2004.

I know there are Freepers out there looking. Not all the jobs are going to India.

Hahahaha...you missed my point....my point was the correct word is "gainfully" not "gamefully" :-)

What can I say: "I am a geek." The partner in charge of our IT practice refers to me as a "tinkerer" rather than a "business man." I don't care what he calls me as long as he keeps sharing the wealth!

My friend Tim thought "do the hustle" was "get your hands off." I always remind myself of that bit of lyricosis whenever I display my ingnorance. (He also thought Fleetwood Mac's "World Turning" was "World of Germans.")

I have some AS-400 Data entry, but my background is Computer Graphics, 3-D, Rendering and Animation. Anybody have leads for OkC

I am a Lightwave 3D guy. My late wife's sister works for NewTek. They used to be right here in Topeka, but are now in San Antonio. If you have Lightwave skills they are almost always looking for at least customer support people. Might want to Check their website. OKC isn't exactly the hub of activity for 3D stuff, of course who would have thought Topeka once was a mecca for 3D innovation.

Thanks for your support. He's having a procedure today or tomorrow to shock his heart back into a more consistent rhythm. I must say he's enjoying the hospital food so his appetite is much better and he mooned an elevator yesterday when he was out in the hall flirting at the nurse's station. That's what drugs can do. LOL

When he's under, they have to find the exact area of his heart where the "nodes" are outta control. Once they do that, they will actually kill those nodes. Except for the electrical problem, his heart's okay.

Sorry to hijack this thread but since my brother was a programmer at EMS in cardiac doing Foxpro before he got sick, it's semi-related. As soon as he gets better, he's going to seek ad copywriting work.

Jesse Jackson has successfully garnered the attention of NASCAR. Geeks could be next. Hide your wallets and pocket protectors. Jesse will say there aren't enough black geeks.

Bttt and thanks for your tv/vcr suggestions. I printed them. Now I have to buy some long, dang, q-tips.

Do you know anything about tabletop fountains? My fountain quit working since I moved too. The water is leaking out the bottom. LOL

Floriduh Voter has gremlins working overtime here.

My big rca went crazy 3 months ago and is fine now after freeper advice. Further, I had to get a new a/c and a/h ouch. I'm betting the fridge is next. No love lost there. Seriesly, this gremlin stuff is hugh.

Glenn, I am here because my brother, a programmer is sick and freepers I know were in here. Further, my tv/vcr quit working and I found a freeper in here with some advice on that.

I'll bump your thread to the top while I post in here.

Thanks in advance because my brother needs prayers for his health, even prayers from geeks will be appreciated, and I have hundreds of gremlins at my house that I deal with one at a time.

I can trot out a couple of black geeks for the dog and pony show. They don't much care for Jesse Jackson though...LOL.

Sounds like me, however, I'm probably the one that triggered this thread, as I AM looking. I'm in the KC area. If you're around here, please freepmail me, I'm looking for networking contacts.

Not me (mainframe/PC COBOL MVS VB 6/Net) but if you are still looking, I can probably - almost certainly - get names. So - is this still open?

For freedom,
