Our group's new HR budget arrived via email yesterday. If you are a Unix or AS/400 programmer who's made their chops in multi-million transaction environments (non-web), send me a private message with your email address.
We need 2 Unix programmers and 1 AS/400 programmer for our group in fiscal 2004.
I know there are Freepers out there looking. Not all the jobs are going to India.

I wish I could be a thread cop. I'd love to be able to ZOT people and bring down the wrath of the Viking Kitties on visiting trolls.

That's a nice thought, trying to help out fellow freepers. I'm a software engineer doing Visual C++ on Windows 2000 applications. Thankfully I'm not looking.
One thing, you didn't say where the job is.

I am an AS/400, Lotus certified web guy, but am gamefully employed. Johnny Gage was saying in another thread that he is an AS/400 green screen guy. Pinging JG!

Thanks...with the unemployment rate going up this may help a FReeper! I'd apply but I'm not qualified. I'm in the Silicon valley area and have been unemployed (or underemployed) over 2years now...~sigh

My resume's in my profile. Many years Unix/C++, web development, TCP/sockets programming, high-transaction rate apps in the financial industry. Also lots of Java lately (EJB's on BEA weblogic server). Freepmail me if interested

I thought RPG was dead. Nonsense. There are plenty of experienced RPG operators out there.
