Sorry about missing last week; I'll try to do better. I didn't see much of interest "geologically" last week, and I didn't have time to search for anything unusual. As for this image, my only regret is that they didn't go a little further north into Venezuela, where there are the strange high-elevation plateaus that inspired Conan Doyle's "The Lost World", and one of which gives rise to Angel Falls, the highest waterfall in the world.

Funny you should say that; I saw a minor news article that in Indiana, there's a National Historical Site where Studebaker planted trees that spelled out "Studebaker". Apparently as the trees are growing bigger, the letters are starting to get blurry, so they're talking about cutting down the trees.
