I hear it's 800+ pages long.... you'll be busy reading it for a few hours.

Good morning all.

Couldn't get online again this morning, so had some time to play. That Home Sweet Home pic was made by Al's mother's great Aunt when she was six or seven years old. It is embroidered on paper, and in the original frame.

Thank you Loddy for the great tips on the stainless. I had a whole bottle of lemon oil, and now I can't find it. I'll keep looking or get some more.

You always come up with something.. ;)

Damn, I posted on the old thread..

That looks cool, Gran. Nice to know the story behind the piture.

Yesterday I drove out to Clifton, TX and got a few pictures.... need to go back when the light is better, but it worked out well for this reflection in the river.

We also drove out to see the old Rock Church built by Norwegians outside Clifton.

gran, there is a product called "Bar Keepers Friend" that comes in a cleanser size can and works well on stainless as well as glass cooktops, copper, brass and tile.

Love those pics Val..especially the B/W.. I am playing with that now. I do love it, but it's not easy to find something that looks good for it. Here's one I took yesterday.

I'm not very good at it yet, along with anything else..but what the heck it keeps me going..;)

Mo, that bear whose photo you posted is larger than most I have seen at my place but smaller than the one that tried to nab the grill. He has been back this year but after biting into a gallon of bleach left on the porch during a cleaning job, he decided to move on for a while.
