Hello kassie! How are you doing? Do you keep up the homeschooling thru the summer, or do you take a break of some sort?
((Nita)), dear - If our coming helped your recovery, I'm pleased as can be, but I do recall....Bit arrived ahead of us last weekend, and something tells me THAT was a factor! He, he...
About half-way thru this week, sure hope you're holding up!

My son will have 2 weeks in June and the entire month of July off from studies. Then he starts back up the first Mon. in Aug. This schedule works for us.
Sounds like you had a wonderful vacation. You are blessed to have met some of our family here. Thank you so much for sharing your stories.

Thanks for getting the thread up and running for us. You're welcome.
Last night, in thinking about today's meeting, I did have this thought...
I should set up the PC to be playing "Who'll Stop the Rain"...
...but I figured that would be bad.
To: Chairman_December_19th_Society
LOL. The sun is trying hard to shine here, but more rain is predicted. It truly looks like swamp land here.

You're welcome, kassie. And guess what!!?? Nita really IS short! And who knows? Removing her appendix may have made her shorter! LOL!
Your homeschooling schedule sounds very workable.

The sun is trying hard to shine here, but more rain is predicted. It truly looks like swamp land here. We've had just shy of 30" of precipitation so far this year, and it isn't even half over. Normal is 41" for the whole year. Even if it didn't rain another drop for the rest of the year, starting now, it would still not be the dryest year on record in Washington.

Well our son John turns 25 today...Born on Father's Day in '78. How's that for planning??!!
He's already discovered one benefit of the age: his car insurance rates have dropped.
And diagnosed with what was then called juvenile-diabetes on his half-birthday in Dec. of '86, just before Christmas, and doing so well now, I'm so proud of his ability to deal with this disease with a positive, can-do attitude.
He is AMAZING!
Happy Birthday my dear son.

Cheney is coming to Akron! Specifically, The Hilton Inn just down Market Street in Fairlawn.Would love to show up in support, but early that day, I'm having a medical test which might affect me the whole day...NOt sure.
If you're interested in more details, let me know, but I'm hoping I can be there.
