The sun is trying hard to shine here, but more rain is predicted. It truly looks like swamp land here.

We've had just shy of 30" of precipitation so far this year, and it isn't even half over. Normal is 41" for the whole year. Even if it didn't rain another drop for the rest of the year, starting now, it would still not be the dryest year on record in Washington.
