We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
The 45th Paris Air Show has opened. In attendence was not a single representative from Lockheed Martin, the leading American defense contrator. Lockheed cited "scheduling conflicts."
Few Iraqis have turned in their heavy weapons after a deadline set by American forces had passed. In response, United States troops have started combat sweeps in towns based on intelligence reports and are seizing caches of heavy weapons.
Scientists have stated they have found the gene responsible for causing bipolar disorder (sometimes called manic-depressive syndrome).
American forces may be part of an international force to root out terrorism in the Mideast, particularly Hamas, says Senator Lugar.
Senator Leaky from Vermont has said the White House should consult with him and other leading Criminal Party members before selecting any Supreme Court nominee in order to avoid a "traumatic national battle," in the words of the New York Times.
And in Kantafordia, the recall petition now has around 700,000 of the 900,000 signatures it needs to obtain by the beginning of September. Governor Grayout Davis has made the following comment about the recall: ""It will move us backwards and cost the taxpayers $30 million. It's just a bunch of affluent losers who are trying to spend money to throw this state into reverse."
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

"Ha!! Did you ever ask your Dad for a horse? Well, you now have two..."I never did but my sister did..and of course, she got one. His name was Rocky and he was the clumsiest damn horse I ever met. Oh but he was so sweet.....
This is too funny. Ok, well the police are here now, so I'll fill ya in later on. ;-)

It's not a good sign when it takes you until 1:30 in the afternoon to realize it's the 16th of the month and NOT the 15th. Neets, I often have that problem. Also, I need a warning that important meetings are coming up. So, I was talking with our school's IT guy and he recommended a program called Windates from .It opens on start-up and does remind me of meetings and things I must do with a visual and an audio reminder.
Just in case anyone else is interested.
LD has accused me of being at the beach, lying around, reading Regencies and drinking diet coke. I wish. The cost of the boat has jumped to $60 and that is too rich for my blood. Nope, LD, I'm working on another essay, this time on Habakuk, its meaning, theology, how it relates to the Covenant and the gospel event and how the it relates to an educational issue. The essay is due by midnight Tuesday.
I have been working at school but apparently I'm allergic to something there. So, I've had to email things to the house.

Really quick I gotta tell you this but these horses are VERY EXPENSIVE....but that's not what I wanted to tell you....the police and the owner with his horse hauler? are out there and Mr. DJ drove down the street and pretended like he didn't live here. Then he called me on his cell phone and said,
"Please tell me you had nothing to do with this....." What does he think, I bought them?? Where would I hide two horses??????? He said he's not coming home until they are gone.....ROFLOL.....

LOL on the Helen Thomas reunion, DJ.:-)
Okay, Raven, behaving here...speaking for only myself you understand...
Good news that the check arrived in timely fashion - in relation to your present trip - NOT the overall pattern. Sheesh!
Hey! Just a minute. YOU behave yourself; after all, you're the one in crazy Europe!!
To: Jemian
Hello ma'am!

I'm doing a lot better than I was. I spent a lot of Friday and Saturday working in my classroom and Saturday night the allergies were going full bore. I haven't been in my classroom since Saturday and things are getting better.
I am really enjoying this summer. It is so good not to have deadlines and schedules to meet.
I have a question: why does the American Psychology Association think they have expertise in grammar?

Did you all see that thread I linked here earlier about the Hillary book signing at the Wal-mart?
Funniest article you ever want to read.

Yes! I'm STILL laughing about Kerry's agressive hair, and He-Man hunting and eating habits. The campaign season is going to be a hoot at this rate.

LOL!
I haven't read that link yet. I'm still trying to catch up. What has been happening in Iran?

Protests have been spreading all over the country. Protesters have been fighting back... capturing and tying the Basji( government thugs) to trees and taunting them.

Thank you! I will print out your experience, and share it with Chef Stout (who isn't) if that's ok with you. I would love the menu. Chef Stout (who isn't) is an alumni of the CIA. I'm sure he would be most interested to see the menu.
I'll freepmail my address.

Welcome home Molly !!
Thanks for book recom G.. I thought the movie was outstanding.
I am still,.. STILL .. sick. Taking it easy as much as I can. Did mow for 3 hours each the past 3 days. Almost done. BIG yard & poor equipment(human profelled push lawn mower that continually stops & often is very "fussy" about restarting)
;. and grass that is in parts 1 foot high... have made it an adventure. I do enjoy the bit out each day but then usually crash for day.
Thanks for all the posts & info.
The article about Buddy was funny but so sad at same time. I guess overall Buddy had a good life.. but so few animals are truly loved & are part of the "family" in a real sense..

LOL on the Sharpton tidbit. Oh boy....
John, that's nice that you can share it with one of your instructors. Think you'll find it interesting, but it's a simple production. Not too fancy - the menu, itself .
(((Dolly))) You got to get well, so we can go to that Indians game. Take care now, okay?

I just finished reading that article about Wal-Mart. I especially liked the part about the book toss and why Wal-Mart had it moved to a grassy knoll.

According to my sources, the students do it all. That probably includes menus. Your waiter was a hot-foods student that is getting near graduation. He's learning the front of the house. I would have complained to him about the delay in service at the beginning. So many culinary students just lack that required sense of urgency.
Thanks again.
