Long story short, I have alot of ties, but a majority of them do not have the matching handkerchief. Is there a way I get them made? Over the years, I lost some, in other cases, I bought ties that didn't have a matching handkerchief and I want to know if there is a place I can go, or somewhere I can send my ties off to, that can do it? I'm from New York City, and I don't even know who or where I would be able to go, to get such a thing done.

Okay, it all depends on what you are wanting. Personally, I have several ties and have a few pocket silks to coordinate with a color in the tie. These were bought separately. In addition, I have a plain white cotton handkerchief used for the ol' snout.

Do you have a wife?....take your tie to a nice department store and Im sure a nice sales clerk will help select matching hankerchiefs.

That can be had at amazon.com:

Or you might try a haberdasher in Chinatown.

The problem is that some of these ties have complex designs. I want to recreate the design and image of the tie for the handkerchief. i.e. a perfect match.

I can't figure out why I would have a pair of socks that are not matched in color....One is black and the other brown.
....and the silly thing is that I must have bought another pair just like 'em.
To: Sonny M
I'm not sure that you could recreate the design. Also, I wouldn't try to have an exact match. Just pick out the dominant color of the ties, and purchase pocket squares for the breast pocket and reserve a crisp, ironed white cotton handkerchief for practical use.

It's amazing how you can put an even number of identical socks in the dryer, yet you don't unload the same amount when they are dry.

Yeah, well, Jimmi Hendrix really did say,

I swear - I'm not this gay. Your scarf matched your hankerchief at The Ball. I vote GAAAAY.
To: Sonny M
Forget it, this idea is tacky.NEVER get a matching set.
If in doubt, use a linen hankie, but always have a contrasting tie and puff.

Not that there's anything wrong with it.
