We had a quiet day (except for the thunder .... more of which I'm hearing in the distance). The kids couldn't come this weekend so it was just the two of us. We spent more time painting on that bedroom ...... we're making progress but still need to try to get it evened out a bit.

We talked to m-i-l this evening and aren't real sure what to think.

..... Two weeks ago she was sooooo eager to get back home ..... now she has tons of doubts. If we're going to take her home the first weekend in July, we need to let the assisted living center know this week. And now Mom is going wobbly on us ..... *sigh*

We think ..... hope .... that's it's just natural concerns because she's been away for so long and hasn't been by herself in quite a while. But it has us a wee bit distressed.

We've emphasized to her that it's her decision and we support her whichever way she decides. I guess we can't do anything else right now.

Oh,Oh. I hope things work out the way you want them to with Mom. We haven't had to deal with those issues yet.

My Father in Law wasn't very good when we visited them this evening. He got up out of his chair and went to the bedroom to lay down because he was dizzy THREE times during the hour and a half we were there visiting. Now it seems to me,,, if I was dizzy, I would just sit tight until the sensation passed.

There are 4 sons in this family. No daughters. My hubby's oldest and youngest brothers have been designated by my Mother in Law as being 'in charge'. So we just keep our noses out of it and are letting it play out.

It sounds like you had a nice peaceful day. I spent the day with my little red headed IMP. She's not quite 3. All the rest of our family was off together.

I'm sorry about your f-i-l. Do they know what the problem is .... vertigo or heart problems or what?

A little bit of everything. I suspect he is not properly medicated. Having fought that battle (still), I'm guessing that is part of his problem.

He's a quadruple bypass 25 years ago. He had an angeoplasty a couple of years ago. And he's just worn out. If he was MY father, I would step in. He's not, and I won't.

Thanks for the great photos of our President. And don't you just love the name of his boat?

G'nite, kay. See you tomorrow.

Good morning, lysie! I have been up for an hour, which just goes to show you that I shouldn't go to bed early!

Prayers for Iran. I hope that situation is resolved soon, with minimal loss of life.

Good morning! I see the full-court press is on to attack the President on the WMD.

Somehow, the President I saw yesterday at Kennebunkport didn't look very concerned, despite all this "damaging" information. I somehow have a suspicion that things are not going to turn out the way the Rats think.

This WMD thing is beginning to work on me. I am totally comfortable with the decisions made by the President. But the criticism is beginning to eat on me. Everytime they talk about it on TV the hair on the back of my neck stands straight up. (much like the recount mess).

I'm not aware of a support group for this malady, so I come here.

Thanks, Kay. It's good to be back, but we also had a wonderful trip, and believe it or not, with all the traveling we've done lately....it was necessary to get away again..... and have some fun.

I hope this week bring some answers for you and MIL. It could be she's gotten to the point where she wants decisions made for her.....
