Took the grandkids down to the pool for exactly one hour, then the thunder started and the darn thing closed. Good thing I looked at the radar and decided to go at 11:00!
We are now having a fabulous lunch of hot dogs, chips, banna, and cookie. "Great lunch, Grandma!" says my grandson. I am a hit with kid cuisine.

Hi. I just got home a short while ago from another shift. It's always a little crazy out there, but something weird is going on out there and making people snap. Maybe it's due to Friday the 13th and (almost) a full moon.
Last night alone we had a code red (medical emergency - a kid tried to hang himself), code green (someone trying to escape), numerous code whites (staff needs assistance for a situation getting out of control), and a code blue (riot or potential riot). I missed a lot of that activity as I had my guys taking their showers, but we caught the aftermath. Oh, and we had some excitement of our own the day before when one kid hit another kid with a big stick and I had to step into the middle of it.
Well, no baby goats yet, but that nanny looks uncomfortable and like she could pop any time.
Bonnaroo has come to our town and brought 90,000 people. Considering our town's population is only 9,000, that's a heck of a lot of people!
