We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
Tonight, at 9:00 PM ET, Hitlery will be interviewed on CNN. Opposite that, on Fox News, there will be an interview with Juanita Broaddrick.
Meanwhile, The New York Times, in a review of Stealing Cheating Living History, referred to the "work" as a "[b]ook [that] has the overprocessed taste of a stump speech, the calculated polish of a string of anecdotes to be delivered on a television chat show." [Ouch!]
The FBI has drained a Maryland swamp as part of its anthrax probe.
Former Executive Editor of The New York Times, Harold Raines made a contemporaneous argument that then President Clinton should not be removed from office over the Lewinsky scandal. Now former President Clinton, it turned out, argued with the owner of the paper that Raines should not be let go over the Jayson Blair scandal.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
Yesterday's Thread (6/9/03)
Prayers for you and yours, sweetie!
Yes, Neets. I'm very excited, but not nervous at all. It seems as though I have known Molly all my life..as well as all you..here.
I'm ticked that it will t-storm. I was hoping to take Molly and hubby on a boat tour of Skaneateles Lake. Perhaps...pick up a dozen eggs and point out terrible terry m's home. I think my pitching arm still has a little distance in it. LOL
Way to go, LBKQ.
kay...wait until you see the waterlily pictures taken by a ponding forum friend, Louis.
He has crossed some lilies to get hybrids of his very own. He is a very talented man.
It has been almost 5 years now. My son had loved animals from the time he was a very small boy. So I was not surprised when 5 years ago he wanted to open a pet store. I resisted the urge to help him. I knew that if I got him financing and gave him lots of help he would never know if he or I had accomplished the goal.
He refinanced his car to get $4,000 to start a tiny store in a not too good (low rent) location. Just a few weeks ago he told me how many times he nearly gave up. After he paid the bills each month there was almost nothing left for him.
About 4 years ago he decided to open an ECommerce Pet Store on the Web. It started off slow too. I helped him learn HTML and that was it. Most of what he did he did on his own. It did have steady growth and gradually pulled into the black. It was tough the first few months, the few bucks his brick and mortar were making were needed to pay for the Dot com's losses. But then things started to really go about 2 years ago. This spring he moved into a 10,000 sq foot building. His store will gross well over a million dollars this year. He has well over 250 thousand dollars worth of inventory at his cost. It is all paid for and he has no loans. He still does not live as he could. He pours nearly everything above basic living expenses back into his store. He is not content to make a superb living. He wants to really grow, so he plows nearly all the earnings back in the corporation.
I don't care where you start. Just start and then look for opportunities. Opportunities always come along. Just take 'em when they do.
