I'm doin' good.
Long early day tomorrow though. The local GOP office headquarters is moving and guess who was asked to help.
So I'm going to have to take it easy tonight.

Off topic if I may for a sec: I notice you're a Beach Boys fan. May I ask you something?
I was thinking for no particular reason about Wilson's arrangement of Sloop John B the other day. I seem to remember a DJ in Toronto (where I lived at the time) when the song came out, telling the story behind the song. Not the stuff about Carl Sandburg's songbook where the original appeared and Belafonte and the Kingston Trio doing it in the 50's, nor even that the record company made the group add it to Pet Sounds. It was the story of what caused the young man in the song to be singing the song: I seem to remember it was something pretty ghastly (the young man was tortured or something, but I don't remember specifically), and the young man singing "This is the worst trip I've ever been on" and "I wanna go home", not to mention the Beach Boys jauntiness with only a hint of the sinister, would have been very understated reactions to whatever dreadfulness the young man went through. Do you know of any such story behind the song? Or have I completely misremembered this with my Alzheimered brain? Thank you.
