Ryan Seacrest needs to go........AWAY.......he is so annoying. I dislike his disrespectul tone towards Simon.

Do you have a Panasonic phone? My print is off my redial button. I'm sure it's Clay's fault back to when this competition started. It took me an hour and a half from Fla. to get through. I kept getting that lady "all circuits are busy now". Finally got the guy confirming "#2". I'm Clay's fan for life whatever happens. He's definitely ready for stardom. I am ready to follow that star.

Don't think Simon is jealous of Clay. I think he just had an agenda pushing Ruben.
IMO, Simon was definitely jealous of Josh.

Hear songs from Last night. Go to this link to hear the songs from last night. Scroll down to near bottom right side. Even Paul Anka's Rendition of My Way is there. Enjoy.

Despite all of my redialing, I only managed to get through to vote for Clay 9 times!
I found Ruben's voice to be far from his best last night. He seem winded and raspy. I'm still a fan anyway.
But Clay did a wonderful job on all three of his selections. I could have passed on the Here, There and Everywhere song, but Clay managed to hit those high notes without creaking or cracking...WAY TO GO!
All that said, both of these guys are what America needs MORE of. Decent, God-loving young men who have talent and modesty, along with a healthy dose of self-depreciating humor. May the Lord bless them both and may the best man win according to God's divine Will!

I'm glad to hear that they're friends ... it's pretty obvious on the screen. I'm glad there is none of that backstage backstabbing stuff going on - quite the opposite. I think they both have a confidence going on that transcends their performances.

The velvet teddy bear weighs 360 and is 6'4". Fox is all Rubenized today - we are on high alert and they are showing favoritism to Ruben even though the voting's over. What are they up to? CYA for Jesse Jackson? FNC keeps saying "Ruben or Clay"? Why not Clay or Ruben sometimes? They could change it once in awhile to hide their favoritism. What happened to fair and balanced? Guess it doesn't count when you're hyping your own shows.

Neither performer showed anything last night. Both showed their best about halfway through the competition and lost their edge, along with everyone who remained in the competition up to now. Barring tremendous improvement by either of them, it really won't matter much who wins. Neither will be destined for stardom. I still think potential-wise Ruben has the most, and if he can raise himself back to where he was early in the top 12 competition, he can be a star. Clay's voice is very pure, but he really should consider a career on the stage. He could be very good there, but I don't think has the staying power to be a real pop star.

Living in Florida is a nightmare whether voting in an election or for an American Idol. I had a very difficult time but managed one vote for Clay after what seemed like 2 hours. Now I find out I could have voted after my 3 hours were up. Clay already has talent and star power and Ruben is lovable and sweet but "he's not ready for prime time".

The show rolls across the country in the 8 oclock hour. My daughter and I were online chatting about the show around midnight our time here in the east. She's west coast time. And from what I have heard, you can keep voting for hours after the last three hours on the west coast.

Yes, but Dunkelman from last year was even more annoying. And, we don't have access to Seacrest's Q ratings. Maybe he's more popular than we could imagine. I wouldn't want his job. Too much suspense for me. They need somebody who seems to lack feelings to run a contest between eager hopefuls.

I was sad when Trenyce got the boot. Her singing affected me the way Clay's did. They have to reach me on some level. Trenyce could wail. That's what I like. The mellow stuff I am capable of doing myself. I can't wail since I had mono in my late teens. The pipes never came back the same way. (the heartland & west coast hogged the phones & I only got to vote once LOL). I demand an investigation.

As a fellow Floridian, I can relate! :)
I enjoyed Trenyce's vocal ability, but was turned off by a lot of the behind-the-scenes behavior that was reported. Apparently, both Trenyce and Kimberly Caldwell delighted in tormenting the "naive and innocent" Carmen Rusmussen and were very haughty and demanding to Idol staff and producers.
It's hard to like someone professionally when their personality seem questionable.
