Our Texas Locale page recently got very busy on the unusual topic of Ouija boards and such. Archy suggested a Lone Star Thread That Will Not Die. Like those darn Hobbit threads with 30,000+ posts.
This is not my thread and I'm not going to baby sit it every day. I just gathered the kindling and y'all have to start the fire.
TOPICS: Chit/Chat

I just logged on, but haven't watched the weather today. Is it still headed for Brownsville? My daughter lives in Harlingen. Hope you don't get what we did during Claudette!!

I saw your screen-name listed under Thailand. My son is going there in a couple of weeks and asked us if we wanted him to buy any 'carved' wood furniture.
I've searched on the internet but haven't seen that type of furniture on any of the sites. Do they still make nice carved wood furniture?
I'm sorry to bother you but would really appreciate a reply.
Regards, potlatch [Carol]

What the heck, keep me on your ping list. I'm on my second glass of wine and feeling feisty. Want to drive to New Mexico and scare some runaway Texas senators?

"Do they still make nice carved wood furniture?" Don't know about furniture, Carol, but these came from Bangkok:
To: TexasCowboy
LOL, that was supposed to be a private letter to Chong, and I messed up!! Those are very nice and I could see my son buying one! He is going to Bangkok, Hong Kong and Toyko.
Thanks for the picture, T.C.

"He is going to Bangkok, Hong Kong and Toyko." Hummm...is your son single?
Speaking from experience of all three places, don't expect him home for awhile......
To: TexasCowboy
LOL, yes he is single. He has been working on Johnstons Atoll, and gets two weeks for each 'tour'. He has been all over the place!
