Our Texas Locale page recently got very busy on the unusual topic of Ouija boards and such. Archy suggested a Lone Star Thread That Will Not Die. Like those darn Hobbit threads with 30,000+ posts.
This is not my thread and I'm not going to baby sit it every day. I just gathered the kindling and y'all have to start the fire.
TOPICS: Chit/Chat
KEYWORDS: banglist; borad; chat; humidity; ouijibored; stiflingheat; texas

"But, darlin', I am only an honorary Texan, sitting way up here in Washington State!" Well, then we're going to have to give you a handicap.
You're gonna be shootin' a little more than a thousand yards.
To: TexasCowboy
Gonna take a lot of elevation.
To: Squantos
"I get to bring my .50 though correct ?" Oh, definitely!
The more .50s we have the more noise we can make!
Gonna be a lot of volunteer cantaloupes coming up next spring......over about fifty acres!

(64,999,987 firearm owners killed no one yesterday. Somehow, it didn't make the news.)

"Gonna take a lot of elevation." Watch out for those damn geese!

"where do we find the 1000 yards?" I'm going to start looking tomorrow while the rest of you peons are working.
I'm off for another week.
I'll get a list of every gun range in Texas that will allow fifty's and the distances of each.
I know there are a few that go out to a thousand yards, but it's like this range here in Houston - you have to qualify first.
Has something to do with not killing someone in the next state.

Has something to do with not killing someone in the next state. Have to find a range that won't disqualify me for shootin' from a different state then. The insurance might be dicey.
To: Eaker
"lil bullets"...."BIG bullets" LOL!
Good work!
To: HairOfTheDog
"The insurance might be dicey." Naw!
Here in Texas we make our butts toward Hollywood.
Any insurance company will cover shooting in that direction.
To: HairOfTheDog
If you're close enough to Libby, Montana, I can point you to a couple of old geezers and one has a .50.
There's an open county range there and you can shoot from dawn to dusk.

To: CindyDawg
Well, when folks come off of one of those dread Hobbit
threads, they are dripping Balrog snot and whatnot..

I have no idea what you are talking about AHA! You have uncovered the secret.
Answer the door, the Illuminati are out front and would like some tea.
One of them is an Admin Moderator. You decide.
