ZOT! Free Republic Sucks?

Are People banned from this site? Are opposing views not welcomed? Why, YES.....Over the past 5-6 years I have had to change my log-in several times..Due to a "Banning". I have received over 132 e-mails from "Freepers" that were also banned. I enjoy reading most of the postings...I start my morning on this site. But I have learned not to reply or post any opposing views...until now. I'm sure this posting will vanish and once again I will be "banned". Until another screen name my friends.

1517 replies??? That must be an error.
I sit here day after day replying to posts on FR, and all I have is a measley 1517 replies? There are people here that have 5000 or more replies, and all I have is a measley 1500 or so ... that can't be right.
What about all those times I have stayed in on a Friday night (for example) posting away. And all the sunny days when I could have been outside soaking up Mother Nature, but instead I was diligently posting away on FR, imparting my wisdom to the world? Surely in all that time I have posted more that 1500 times.
Late nights when I could have been sleeping, I have been here, conveying my wealth of knowledge on a diverse range of topics, and all that amounts to is a puny 1500 replies?

As far as that DUmb place is concerned, you may be able to hit the 'post' button before you get banned.
I got banned after one message. A DUer was complaining about voter fraud (Republican fraud only) and how to stop it. I, being an honest-to-gawd registered Democrat (will explain that, if you wish) said, "Democrats should work with Republicans to eliminate voter fraud."
I was banned before I could post a second reply. However, I could have been banned because I didn't curse Bush or utter an explitive.
A thread over there you should read deals with a FReeper (Kristinn) who appeared on Fox & Friends a few days ago. A FReeper lurker (GregW) [he HAS to be a lurker here!] posted a number of pictures of people he obviously detested and put stupid names on each. I figured they dang sure figured out who I was...they even used my FReeper Photo Album picture with "Bela Lugosi" as the name. LOL!
But don't try to find the thread, you may go blind, deaf and/or lame going through all the hatred there!
Oh, be sure to shower (use Lysol) immediatly after leaving!
