We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
Ten Iraqis have filed a complaint in a Belgian court accusing Gen. Franks of war crimes in Iraq. Belgium has a law that allows their courts to try war crimes committed by anyone anywhere in the world - "universal jurisdiction" as it is called by some. The United States is warning Belgium if the case is taken up it will have serious diplomatic repercussions.
Heard much from the Hollywild left lately? Probably not. Most of the anti-war stars have decided to beat a solid retreat in the face of a lightning quick war with broad support across the country.
The Unitd States is considering moving its main mid-east air command center from Saudi Arabia to Qatar.
And today is, or was, Saddam's birthday.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

I just read that last article from the Washington Times that you linked, the one about the Iraq War Color Lines. Wow! If you need any more evidence that blacks think in terms of race, read this quote:
"I think our cause going in was justified. ... I am behind President Bush 100 percent," Mr. Scoggins said. "Just because we're people of color doesn't mean we should support regimes run by people of color that are vicious."
And that is from someone who
supported the war. It's like his main reason why he might not support the war is that Saddam is not a whitey (by his definition, apparently).
Just last week I sat through 5 days of training and spent a lot of my time talking to the two black guys in our group of 8 (they were also the only other non-smokers so while everyone else was having their cigarette break, I was jawing with them). I got to know them pretty well and will enjoy working with them. But one of them is definitely typical of "people of color." He has been arrested many times for all sorts of protests and was against the war. He seemed a bit sheepish about it, but offered that before I even asked. I guess the only explanation is that he grew up around here during segregation and even though he sees all the changes, he still looks at the world in terms of race.
The other guy is younger, in his 30s, and from Chicago. If he's not a Republican, he certainly talks like one. I did talk about race with him, but he does not assume that whites are racist like some blacks and all liberals think.

We're planning on tomatoes and cucumbers and a few other things, but I'm waiting for my niece to finish with the tiller so we can do it right.
Meanwhile I'm waiting for a call about my mower which quit working yesterday.

And this particular crowd is VERY thankful for what this President did for their people, and they are showing it, aren't they?

"Training? Typo? Maybe "Indoctrination"?Actually, you know, I thought about that. However, I concluded that I have been a Freeper long enough and I am well prepared to beat back the demons. Besides, haven't you noticed the trend? A lot of the people that are now on Fox (Greg Jarrett, Linda Vester, etc.) were, at one time, with MSNBC.

Wasn't that a great speech! Standing ovation from the entire crowd!
To: Bitwhacker
Thanks...do you need some sort of Pre-Release draft???'
I am a tad bit miffed tho, because when I called her to confirm the date and time, she tells me Daisy will need a bath because she was out playing in the mud with the boys this morning.
I won't be able to give her a bath until her incision heals.

Could you understand what the 'hecklers' were yelling?
I could hear some of it.....all good.....but not all that they said.
They were an outstanding audience, and it was an outstanding speech! This President brings SO much joy to SO many people!

I hear "USA" and "He's gone" and "Thanks to you."
Between the sound and the Iraqi accents I couldn't understand all of it.
I am so glad I cam in from the garden and saw this! I am so happy that the President gets to feel some gratitude and love from these people. It is obvious that there will be many "Georges" named in Iraq and in Dearborn. Ha!
Now, back to the yard! See you later!
To: Dog
No, before.
I was hoping she could have been cleaned up nice BEFORE the surgery, but now she'll have to wait till after she heals.

Yes it was thrilling...but for one sec...as the President walked off the stage...I had a little shiver of concern about his security...don't know why..just a vague worry.
Jane, Congrats to your daughter on her exhibit last week.
As you know, we enjoyed Alison's, for her MFA. It was dignified, & not risqué...As was the other exhibit in the room across the lobby. But this one was less appealing as the artist had concocted these protrusions from the walls - from plastic and cloth...odds and ends, all stuck together and painted wild colors, sticking out from the walls in shapeless forms - MOST unappealing!
