AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 828) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | April 28, 2003 | All of Us

Posted on 04/28/2003 4:16:10 AM PDT by Chairman_December_19th_Society

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!

Good morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

Ten Iraqis have filed a complaint in a Belgian court accusing Gen. Franks of war crimes in Iraq. Belgium has a law that allows their courts to try war crimes committed by anyone anywhere in the world - "universal jurisdiction" as it is called by some. The United States is warning Belgium if the case is taken up it will have serious diplomatic repercussions.

Heard much from the Hollywild left lately? Probably not. Most of the anti-war stars have decided to beat a solid retreat in the face of a lightning quick war with broad support across the country.

The Unitd States is considering moving its main mid-east air command center from Saudi Arabia to Qatar.

And today is, or was, Saddam's birthday.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

Speaking of Superman:

I saw this on The Corner the other day, in all of the buzz about the NFL Draft.

It turns out that NFL teams, not content to rate players merely on physical abilities, also measure intelligence! They use a test called Wonderlich Psychological Test, which consists of 50 questions, each more difficult than the one that appears before it.

The all-time low was recorded at a 3 for an offensive lineman. The all-time high was a perfect 50 (only one in 100,000 scores a 50). The average is 21; the NFL average is a 19.

Anyway, here is Rick O'Reilly's hilarious artice about the test; and here is a sample Wonderlic Test...

Miss Marple: ROFLOL.....you're right, I'll keep repeating the mantras of the DNC.

Chair: I am doing okay. The new house is keeping me busy, which is good. I am going to start training this week to be a "Consumer Hotline Helper" volunteer for our local NBC affiliate. When I told Mr. DJ that, he told me that before Channel 8 knew what had hit them, I'd be pounding the pavement with a microphone in one hand, a target list in the other and a cameraman trying extremely hard to keep up with me.

My Mom said, "Dad always said you would find your way in front of a camera, one way or another. Next thing ya know I'll be watching you on FNC, announcing: DING!!!! THIS IS A FOX NEWS ALERT!!!!"

It could happen, ya know. ;-)

Glad your back is feeling better. I hate back problems.

I wasn't feeling well yesterday....just a touch of SARS, I think. Drank some Sarsquil and felt better. Seriously, I think I got too far off my low-carb diet and started having stomach problems.

In other health news, I noticed I now have a France (a boil on my butt), but you probably didn't want to hear about that.

Training? Typo? Maybe "Indoctrination"?

A GOOD P.M. TO ALL, HOPE ALL ARE HAVING A GOOD DAY, I AM, FROM THE MISSISSIPPI GULF COAST, USA!!!

Went to get a paper this A.M., got busy at d house and just now checking in. Nothing has changed, right?

I got hot last night at Pat SayJack, sheesh, he needs to go, when he made the statemengt to Cal Thomas that 'the presidendent is in a little controversity as he does speak of this religios beliefs he has' DUH! what does he mean we are NOT to speak of GOD? Our belief in GOD? If they only knew, I can assure him that us 'religious nuts' are much happier than the other side, what a shame.

My real estate lady has called and said the last person who saw my house really likes it, better than any other he has seen AND THE LANDSCAPE IF GREAT!!!!

OK, Prez speaking, gotta run. See ya'll.

Hi DJ!

Dog, I sure enjoyed that Parody from the Weekly Standard you posted the other day. It was a hoot...and on the mark, too.

With everything going on, I almost forgot about this bit of campus news from a couple of weeks ago...

When we arrived at Miami (Ohio) Univ. that day to see Alison's exhibit, we found that the week had been "Conservatives Come out of the Closet" week on campus.

Events and speakers - all on the conservative side - had attracted much positive attention, William was happy to report.

The only negative was that John Stossel, the main event, had been held up on the East Coast because of that late season snow storm.

But the following week, he made it...William was delighted to hear him speak to a large, overflow crowd of appreciative listeners!

Some good news from a college campus!

Also - in the weeks before the war, a few protestors appeared daily, but once the outcome was clear - and their cause was doomed, he, he - the protestors went back to their formula "we need a living wage" mantra and so forth!

Oh the pain of the lost cause!
