AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 826) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | April 26, 2003 | All of Us

Posted on 04/26/2003 4:29:36 AM PDT by Chairman_December_19th_Society

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!

Good morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

The Bush Administration will consult with allies on whether to seek international sanctions against North Korea. The Communist nation has said such a move would be a "declaration of war."

Otherwise, not much news this morning.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

Granddaughter's birthday was Friday ..... grandson's birthday is in less than a month. Son and d-i-l won't be able to come back for grandson's birthday so they brought his gift with them, too.

Their gifts for the kids were blasts from their own pasts ..... Strawberry Shortcake doll for granddaughter ..... Transformers for grandson! I'm not sure who had more fun ..... aunt & uncle or niece & nephew ..... *grins*

I don't know if these are old favorites being revived or if they've been around all along and we just hadn't noticed.

I will have to take a month off from school

That should be enough time to give the others a chance to catch up to you.

My daughter played with Strawberry Shortcake!!
My son was enthralled with Transformers.

I was surprised to see they are still part of the toy collection.

I think some toys are timeless and never go out of style.

Something I'm hoping makes a comeback is Construx ..... son (who is a year older than your son) played with them for hours and hours on end. Grandson is at the perfect age for them. IMO, they were by far the best "building toy" for younger kids and there seems to be nothing quite like them available today ...... :-(

Did you see on Friday's thread that hubby and I met oldngray for lunch that day? I'm sorry we weren't able to get together until now since he's leaving the area but it was a privilege to finally get to meet him. He's quite a gentleman .... and such a devoted Christian!

Did quite a bit of work outside today, and did the weekly grocery shopping. Lawn's looking pretty good; next weekend I put down the dandilion killer though.

Yes, I read that just a few minutes ago. How exciting to put faces to names and personalities. You're never sure if your web friends are who they say they are, but meeting them in person or sending snail mail letters makes you even more sure. I am looking forward to when I meet Oldngray and you, too. And Guennie. And John. And Dog. And Neets. And Bitwha.....

Trill and bratling spent some time working on the raised beds. I've spent most of this beautiful day in the kitchen practicing for my practical exam. Challah bread is next on the list. It's a good thing bulk flour is cheap.;>)

We've just got to have an ATRW gathering sometime. Is it next year that you'll be back in the states for a while? That would be a perfect time!

"We can go into the witness protection program together..."

I don't know. From what I read and hear, we'd probably be more at risk in the witness protection program than if we just ran away! Besides, just think about where Neets works and who she knows.... . Nah, we'd be better off to not try the witness protection program.
