Thanks for asking about me. I am getting more used to the medicine but wish I could get the pounds off faster!

The problem with the Atkins diet is that I am also supposed to be on a low sodium diet and I just can't stand eggs or meat without a bit of salt. Maybe I will try it after I have been without salt for a while and my taste has changed.

Twin Grandsons were born last night!!! D-i-l had an emergency c-section. All were doing well as of midnight last night when we left the hospital. Cole William weighed 5.7 lbs, and Brandon Edward weighed 4.13.

Morning all. I fed the family breakfast burittos this morning. Going to practice on blueberry muffins later today. Trill is weaving, bratling is snoozing. the dogs are lounging in the sunshine, the cats are strewn about as if after an explosion in a cat factory. Today is a good day to be alive. I thank God for this day.

His reports from Scripps La Jolla showed increased cardiac output - we are so BLESSED!!! I will be lurking from time to time, but picture me unpacking a motor home, tow car and trying to get our lives organized again after being away for 2 months :-) Bev

Hi everyone. I'm home alone as I was feeling rather crook (that's Aussie for sick) this morning. I think it's from a few days of eating high-carb rich foods.

Anyway, the family is at church and I have to pick up my daughter at noon from her friend's church, then meet the rest for lunch at our Chinese friends' house. Most likely we'll have some wonderful Sichuan cuisine that will make me nostalgic for the old days there.

Her mother and sister are both doctors in China so I hope to pick up their perspective on SARS.
