Taking on ones critics is not apologising...especially when one goes to great links to defend the intial position. They should have just shut-up and let it be forgotten by those fans more interested in their music than their liberal views. Freedom of speech--and its subsequent effects of agreement or boycott--works both ways. What a bunch of whiney crybabies. They deserve to be Democrats. Let them sell their phony-nude personnas to the Bill Clinton's (and Uday Hussein's) of the world. It's not what a lot of their former fans would appreciate, but, hey, it's a living...of sorts.
