We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good Morning!!
The State Department is issuing a travel advisory for Ontario relating to the SARS virus.
California may run out of cash in a few weeks; their solution will be to pay vendors and others with IOUs.
Gay rights groups are upset that Sen. Santorum compared homosexuality to bigamy, polygamy, incest, and adultery.
And Hans Blix says the United States lacks credibility in its efforts to find Iraq's banned weaponry. He warned the UN Security Council that only the UN, not the US, could provide an objective assessment of anything found in Iraq. He further accused the United States and Britain in deliberately undermining his efforts before the war.
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who gave their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
I asked Mr. DJ to pick the kids up from school one day so that I could actually heal my back, and he said, "I can't, I have flying lessons..." He has WHAT??? Since WHEN? Did I miss that announcement? I told him, "If you can fly, then fly your butt to St. Joe's, pick up your children and fly home. End of my lesson." ;-)
Great. So now I have a child who excels in doing cartwheels off the diving board; a husband (who I happen to love) who is now going to become a pilot; another child who is experimenting with eggs to see if they will "float" in the pool; an aspiring comedienne and a dog named Lucy.
I am definitely a country/western song.
Donny and Kelly and the rest could use some prayers during this time. The entire family was really close-knit.
I am also still in need of prayers. I did get a glimmer of good news today, but won't know anything until tomorrow.

I'm sorry, Toby, I have to disagree with you on this one. My reasons are because primarily our times are in God's hands. Period.
Other reasons include that if we have healthy bodies, eat nutriciously, get exercise, our bodies probably can resist even this virus.
We are commanded not to worry.
LOL! Yes, Jim, go tell your wife! LOL!
Jemian, was just going to write that I'm more than a little worried about SARS since we are on the border, but your post has set me straight about Who is really in charge here, so I'll put that "worry energy" to some other use right now.
Hi, everyone! It's been *S*ing since 6am here - darndest thing, tho, hasn't been sticking, so I feel as though I'm spending the day inside a snow globe! Doing my once-a-month check in - miss you all.
Well,perhaps by summer I'll be a 'regular' again.Take care.
While I'm not worried about SARS, I do worry a lot about other things. Any passages from the Bible you can recommend? Don't include Job. My bible naturally falls open at Job, I've read it so much in the last couple of months.

Jim, is it good to be the king? ;>)

:-)
You know where I can hire some Knights........my round table is empty.
Minister of Trade.
This one is the Queen of Diamonds......the Air Defense Minister..
One of which is that we're going camping this weekend and leaving Friday at noon. I have to get all the stuff together Thursday. No computers where we're going (for that matter - nothing but beach, coral, waves and coconut palms).
This trip is a gift to one of my students. When his parents asked what he wanted for his birthday, he said he wanted to go camping with my family. Then, his mom and brother had to leave for the states to get medical treatment and so this trip has increased in magnitude. He needs a step-mom right now and it looks like I'm appointed. I am honored to have been chosen.
John, Kay's verses are good (!), but also Philippians 4:8. The secret in that verse is actually vv. 6 & 7 before it coupled with letting your mind dwell on those good things. Do not neglect just plain prayer and personal Bible study because the more you get to know the character and actions of God, the more trust in Him you develop. Trust is developed by knowing God because He is trustworthy and His lovingkindness endures forever. Reference on that is Psalm 136.
This is just a starter.
Gardner, I caught both your emails. I just haven't answered due to lack of time. Your second one is troublesome to me, and then it makes me mad. It is a call to prayer, primarily, and asking God to confound those plans so they don't come to fruition. Your mail was the first I heard about it but I got another email along those lines just this morning.
I will write you privately about the other. I owe ISB a letter as well.
To be honest, JT is not the most talented player, he does work hard and therefore is getting good. There are two others much more talented however, they were on the bench last night and maybe had three baskets between them! They were, not mad, but chagrined! LOL!
I'm one proud mama!
