Hi Stranger!! Just marking my spot for tomorrow. I'm gonna spend some time on this thread tomorrow too. Before I go tho, a cute little joke: An elderly man goes to the Doctor for his annual check up. The Doctor orders a few test which he undergoes that week. The next week he comes back to the Doctor to see how he is. The Doctor says, well Mr. Jones, I have some very bad news. You see, you have terminal cancer and you are in an advanced stage of Alzheimers Disease. The man looks at the Doctor and say: "Well at least I don't have cancer"!! LOL Tomorrow day.

Here is the incredibly brave Yoda cat all snuggled up to the big scary vacuum cleaner
To: ValerieUSA
Looks like the cord is dead .. Good job Yoda .. *L*
Have I ever mention how Carly goes screaming from the room when ever I open the closet door where I keep the vacuum cleaner?

*L* The cord is dead. Funny!
Show this picture to Carly - tell her she should be so brave as a cat.
To: ValerieUSA
Oh I wish that would be all it took .. this child is scared of everything .. so unlike her two older sisters ..
One night I couldn't get her to sleep because a piece of the dry wall seam came unglued and she swore there was a spider under the seam
I ended up having to duck tape the dang wall just to get her to go to bed .. LOL

this is ironic:
A tornado Thursday evening destroyed six homes and damaged about 140 others in Liberal, Kansas. Winds also leveled a barn at the town's Oz-themed Dorothy's House attraction.
To: Mo1
My bedroom window is cat TV - they sit there for hours watching the squirrels and birds (looking out, not in, of course *L*)
To: ValerieUSA
There is a town called Liberal Kansas??

Winds also leveled a barn at the town's Oz-themed Dorothy's House attraction. That's sort of like painting a target on your butt and hanging out at the rifle range...
To: ValerieUSA
Is that your visiting kitty cat???
Well off to hit the grocery store and get some food in this house ..
Also another gloomy day .. if they call for a drought this year I will lose it .. I WANT SUN & FUN!!!

Saki was Daniel's cat, but he left for Kuwait, so she's my cat now. He may or may not be back for her.
I just took Gabe to see the new Matrix movie. It was long.... the fight scenes could have been cut considerably. I'm still thinking about it, trying to decide if it was any good or not.

To: ValerieUSA

Saki looks very much like my cat Petra. Petra was a tonkinese, and an adopted stray. She died about 2 1/2 years ago. I don't know how old she was, but I'd had her for 11 years years, and she was an adult when I got her. They are great cats, and I'd like another Tonk someday.

I'll have to look up tonkinese cats. Daniel said Saki is an applehead Siamese. She's beautiful and very soft and purrs a lot. Her light blue eyes are slightly crossed, which is endearing.

Another difference: The conservative political organizations that train the right-wing editors are better organized than ever. The Leadership Institute, which sponsored the North Carolina seminar, is one of three organizations that train and fund conservative journalists. Founded by Morton Blackwell, a former Reagan White House operative, the institute offers to pay the costs of printing first issues. What the Fuhhh?? What about PETA and the WWF and ANSWER... who's subversive?
