Thanks, Mo! Great story! I liked the part about the avocados. California avocados are terrific, and I'd sure miss them if I had to go without for a long period of time.

This is such a funny Texas story!
The Texas Rangers have been ordered to go to Oklahoma and arrest these rascally rats. I would like to see them brought into town in a parade of horse-drawn paddy wagons so the FReeople can throw tomatoes at them.

They are good to just peele and eat, or cube up on salads. I don't cook with them, just eat them. They have a very smooth buttery texture (they are NOT low fat) and are just delicious. I'm thinking about planting an avocado tree in the back yard! :)

Well, usually I just peel them, not peele. They have a tough skin with a rough surface, with a large seed in the middle.

Yes she is .. We have been seeing alot of her around my area with all the building of homes thay have been doing ..
Last summer, Mr. Mo1 was coming around the corner and almost ran over a couple kids laying in the middle of the road ..
Turns out they were coming around the corner on their bikes and got broad sided by a couple of deer running across the street .. sent the kids flying in the air and their bikes were all bent up

LOL! I've never heard of kids on bicycles being hit by deer! We have a doe in the back of our house that's been bringing her fawns. They still have their spots.

LOL! I've never heard of kids on bicycles being hit by deer! LOL .. that was my thought too .. can you imagine trying to explain that one to your parents .. LOL
Deer is a huge problem up this way with all the new homes going up and there is no place for the deer to go for search of food so then they will come out at night to munch on someone's garden
Another big problem is the geese that show up every summer .. it's so bad they have to close some lakes and swimming hole because of health reasons
