What would have been the world's response if President Bush had said, "We are going into Iraq to end this evil regime, to end the suffering, torture and murder that the Iraqi people have endured for far too long."
What if he did not mention WMD or terrorism or threats to neighboring countries? Would the world have supported this war?
Exactly! We went to war to protect ourselves. President Bush has made that quite clear. When we are the target of terrorists, and future horrible terrorism, he wasn't about to sit by.
Except for that aberration Clinton, we have never been a threat to the world.
I have a clip on a lamp by my desk. These words are out of context, but they are true by themselves: "Perhaps never in the history of the world has a country with such military might, economic strength, and cultural influence had so little imperialist interest or practice." These words are similar to what Barry Farber, conservative journalist, has said "---having so much power, and using it less----".
When our country is the target, President Bush did what he had to do, regardless of world opinion.
No, it likes not murdering dictators. If the world was willing to murder more dictators, there wouldn't be a problem. <grin>

How about cloning? I wonder how far along Saddam was into cloning? --- I bet Saddam loved the idea!
And the greatest progress in archaeological investigation in the past 30 years gives indication that the Sumerian civilization had a more profound effect on the birth of ancient civilization than previously believed --- it's high time we get that strategic area out of the hands of the nutcase Saddam Hussein!
