In addition to CPT Christopher Seifert, MAJ Gregory Stone has died from wounds received at the hands of a home grown terrorist (Akbar). Terrorist McVeigh killed 168 Americans in Oklahoma City and paid the appropriate price. Is there any difference between McVeigh and Akbar? In my mind the answer is simple.

Somebody tell Imus, that no matter the elevation of Baghdad, it's uphill all the way.
CNN reporter in Jordan, Rula Amin says people there are very impressed by the Iraqi resistance to the Americans, and says people there say "What do you expect of the Iraqis? They trick the Americans, fight in American uniforms, they must resort to those tactics because the US has sent in so much fire power and so many soldiers. And the US is planning to occupy Iraq, or why else would they have sent in so many soldiers?
I just cringe when CNN gets a report like thiss, direct from pro-Iraq media, and does not present the other point of view, or even challenge the reporter or the accuracy of what is reported.

Listening to Imus. I heard him talking about a map in Newsweek but missed the elevation comment. FBI Agent Chris Whitcomb is on now. He is dead set against commercial pilots carrying side arms. Too late Chris. They already are. Besides, if it means the difference between everybody dying and the pilots having a fighting chance, I want them to be able to have the option of putting the pointed end of a fireax in someone's forehead OR a bullet in their chest.

Aanticipated CENTCOM briefing at 8 am EST.
CNN showing a Baghdad map..10 bridges within the city, and says they are rigged with explosives.
I know many DC Freepers met, talked with Chip Reid during impeachment, and posted how nice he was. He's now with the 1st Marine Division, on the way to Baghdad, and looks to me like he's doing a great job. Unlike David Bloom, Chip is smart enough to wear his helmet and flak jacket. I notice this morning, he even has on his chem suit. He says the marines he's with are totally ticked off that they are fighting soldiers wearing civilian clothes.

Yes, this civilian clothing and US Military clothing is becoming a problem. I heard in some areas, Iraqi Guards are wearing US Military clothing and when one of their own tries to surrender to them, they shoot them.

CNN GRRRRRRRR Showing another segment on worldwide demonstrations against USA, while scroll is dwelling on civilian damage to apartttment buildings in Baghdad, while their UN reporter says the Arab UN members want a resolution denouncing the USA for invading Iraq. Could CNN be any more biased? I don't think so.

Susan Swain, C-SPAN WJ, just let some nutcase go on and on about blacks and whites in America, the war, etc. etc. He was an imbecile. Some complain about this kind of stuff. I say let them talk. 99% of the Bush-haters are turning the rest of America against them.

Mr. Aziz says the dying fox (Saddam) is trying to turn Iraqi's against each other. His idea to have exile Iraqi's speak to the people sounds like a good one.

Could CNN be any more biased? I don't think so. Agreed. I happened to catch some photos that they were showing, with music, at the end of a segment. Along with pics of American soldiers, they were showing wounded civilians. Hmmm...

Just saw Chip Reid give a report about a retaliation on some infiltrators. He is good. "When the Marines tell us to get down, we get down."

I note on the ABC map showing where coalition units are located, there is nothing shown about the 101st or 82nd. And of course, nothing about the special forces units.
Now paying close attention to CENTCOM briefing...sure hope someone asks about the massive convoy of Iraqis heading south that we've heard about earlier.
