We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail! [President Bush]

US Apache helicopters battled with the Iraqi Second Armored Brigade of the Medina Division. AA fire brought down at least one helicopter; Iraq claimed two craft were brought down.

Saddam addressed the people of Iraq and promised victory soon while discussing many of the recent battles.

Syria claims a US missile hit a bus near the Iraq/Syria border, killing five.

US forces are engaging the enemy at the Karbala Gap.

Fighting continues at An Nasariyah.

Among targets struck in Baghdad, coalition aircraft struck a building belonging to the Iraqi Air Force.

Air raid sirens sounded in the city of An Mawsil yesterday.

Two British soldiers are missing after a skirmish in southern Iraq.

US officials still have not determined what was in the plant they secured at the city of Najaf - about 90 miles south of Baghdad - though they do believe the center was part of the process of producing chemical weapons in Iraq.

US Marines secured a regional headquarters of the Ba'ath Party in Umm Qasr yesterday. In the building were stacks of American leaflets the Marines believed Ba'ath Party members rounded up so they wouldn't be seen by the population.

Remember to not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

Remember the fallen - a list of American KIAs

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

I'm so sorry to hear that, Jemian. Glad you could say so. I'll pray for you and I know others here will too.

It must be a little extra hard now that I assume you have lots of extra time on your hands due to the situation. And I completely understand about the separation from LD, especially during these traumatic days we're living through.

Sweeeeet. Some Brits having a little fun, nothing wrong with that.

Jane, is it just me, or has nobody mentioned that Catherine Zeta Jones won the Best Supporting Actress Oscar last night? I mean, just imagine Maureen Dowd sitting in her condo in NYC watching it. Think of the possibilities. Was she half sober, trashed, or passed out? 8^)

That's easy for you to say. I'm trying to have some compassion for those not blessed with cable modems or DSL.

But I'll post a few more ......

[A 3 year-old] sits underneath the oak tree in front of the Airborne and Special Operations Museum in Fayetteville, N.C., Friday, March 21, 2003, following a ribbon tying ceremony. [The boy's] father, Staff Sgt. [*name omitted], is deployed overseas with the 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment of the 82nd Airborne Division. Smittle is holding a sign that reads: "My Daddy is a Hero."

* [I don't like seeing names posted on the internet ..... especially in association with the families awaiting their heroes back home ... so I have omitted both the boy's name and his father's.]

Boy, that sure looks like fun ..... NOT!

The pictures showing the "smoke ring" surrounding Bagdad are sure to cause many Iraqis a world of hurt in the future. I cannot imagine a normal human being doing such a thing as a burning so much oil to "protect" a city. Listening to some of the sound bites coming from Iraq, makes me think, though they know about today's technology and are being taught to use today's technology, their thinking is still many years ago.

But what is oil to them, but a tool to get what they want???? I lay all of this at the doorstep of Britain and Roosevelt, oddly enough -- they should have known and either ignored the situation or, worse, because of ignorance or bigotry, thought that the problem wasn't worth a second glance....

But how does that excuse UOX42???? He knew all of this and more, and about all of the chemical plants (some of which are 80 square miles underground) and more....

Do ya think maybe polling may have indicated that doing something wasn't 'popular'????

Yes, it is. Wasn't paying attention when I copied the caption from the Fox News site.
