That's President Bush, to you, and don't forget it.

That joke is so two years ago. I'm surprised that Apple would do that. Could you imagine if a huge Corporation trashed Clinton when he was Pres. The bar has been lowered again.

| Crazy Apple Rumors Site is dedicated to the fabrication of Apple rumors that defy verifiability, grammatical convention or any basis in reality. Crazy Apple Rumors Site is not affiliated with Apple Computer, Crazy Eddie, the Fleetwood Mac "Rumors" album, Mack Trucks, the Washington State Apple Growers Association, the Vatican Secret Service, or Victoria's Secret (despite the large collection of their catalogs in the CARS' men's room). Any similarity to existing Apple rumors sites is purely coincidental. As a matter of fact, any similarity to an actual web site with content, readers, and advertisers is not only coincidental but really rather unlikely, don't you think? Should any member of the CARS team be caught or killed, the secretary will disavow any knowledge of our actions. She's really adamant about that. All cease and desist orders should be directed to Steve Ballmer, Microsoft Corporation, Redmond, WA. He's the big freak, after all. Lubrication provided by Deschutes Brewing, makers of Mirror Pond Pale Ale. All meals catered at great expense by Honoki of Roppongi, Tokyo, and are flown in daily. Try the miso eggplant. It's exquisite. Guests of Crazy Apple Rumors Site fly Aer Lingus, strangely enough, and stay at the Silver Cloud Inn in Tacoma, in the luxurious Crazy Apple Rumors Suite. |

This seems more like a slam against Gore than Bush.

Yeah, I heard Gore was appointed to Apple's Board of Directors. My question is 'Why?'. What does Al Gore bring to the party? He has no technical savvy, he's not a flambouyant personality, he definitely polarizes the company's appeal, and he is not well connected in the industry.
Considering that Apple is, and has been on the cusp of going under for decades; one would think that they would try to avoid doing stupid, alienating things. This news has been of neglible impact to their stock price .... so far.
Don't get me wrong, I work in the PC industry; but I do love Macs. Some of the older Macs have my designs in them (part of one of my old job). They are robust, easy to use, and have untrained elementary/high school teachers as the primary IT support. That says a LOT.

Hey, any company that would put Algore on its corporate board isn't really a bright and shining star!

I thought it was humourous when i saw this earlier. But now that I see this on the Apple corporate website, i have to ask, what are they thinking. It is completely inappropriate for a company to have this type of stuff on the corp website. Go Linux, Dump Apple.

The Bush administration indicated that if a recount was not successful, they would take the matter to the Supreme Court." Nothing wrong with doing the right thing. We live in a Republic, not a left wing socialist state based on mob rule.
Will the leftists ever learn anything? ;-)
To: PeoplesRepublicOfWashington
Where's the humor? Bush has never asked for a recount. LOL. Good point. LOL.

Yes, but it appears to be an officially sanctioned spoof.
I don't know why they took algor onto the board of directors, but I don't appreciate this kind of thing on a corprate website that Gore is involved with. It smacks of sour grapes and whining.
I have never been a big fan of Mac's, but I know I sure as hell wouldn't think of touching one as long as they are behaving like this.
Apple computer just did what I previously believed was impossible.. They became even more irrelevent.

"attempt" is the word. Lame is a better word. Brainless is the best word for a company that wants Gore on the Bored.
