Bush Demands Recount In Gore's Board Election
"In the wake of Apple's announcement late yesterday that former Vice President Al Gore was elected to the company's board of directors, President George Bush announced this morning that he would demand a recount... The Bush administration indicated that if a recount was not successful, they would take the matter to the Supreme Court."

While I am no fan of Bush, I figured this would be of interest to the rest of you

Where's the humor? Bush has never asked for a recount.

Lame attempt at humor?

Big deal. Just an attempt to be humorous; doesn't qualify as a "trash" in my book. When one considers everything else going on, this is hardly a cause for outrage. I won't even dump my iMac.

Spoof or not who cares what Yapple says or gore spews ?

I'm not going to the website, but if this is so, I predict some bad results for Apple, which can't really afford it just now. JMHI

And Yes, I do know it is humor - but since most of you are so hyper sensitive about the slightest criticism of Bushie Boo, I figured it would be of interest to some of you

Funny! I give Gore a little credit for making fun of himself - he knows what he really did, of course, as do those of us who paid attention to it at the time.
Should have some warning though: "Do not attempt to handle without sense of humor"

Trash Bush?

The actual sight is not Apple Comnputer, Apple has posted a
link to an independent sight called
Crazy Apple Rumors.
If you can not see the humor in the spoof, my condolences go to your family.

It was an attempt at humor, but it was mean-spirited. I'm sure they thought it is funny to liberals, and they didn't care that it would irritate conservatives.
They're idiots. But we already knew that before they put Gore on the Board.

AGREED. I won't dump my Mac either -- the way I look at it, this move benefits Gore much more than it benefits Apple. (Did Gore pay them to take him?) After all, the company was started by a few computer geeks in a garage, not by a bunch of power-mad pathological liars. Besides, does anyone know how large their board is? I'll bet Al doesn't wield that much influence.
