I was very disappointed that the "Dixie Chicks" one of my favorite singing groups has jumped on the "bash-America" bandwagon. That's too bad, I really loved their song "Travelin' Soldier."

Meanwhile I am looking for more pro-America music to enjoy. Here's a list of some of the songs I have been listening to. Please add to this list of pro-America songs and patriotic singers and musicians.

I saw Toby Keith do this on CMT, and he said "This is the original angry American song"
Apparently Merle Haggard wrote it in response to the anti-war protesters during Vietnam.
Of course, now he spends his time decrying the War on Drugs, and the search and seizure laws regarding said war.

It may not be considered a patriotic song but a good one to listen to is Battle Hymn of the Republic, but it always makes me want to cry for some reason.
