Happy New Year, leadpenny. Thanks for the ping, I didn't know Imus was back until Monday.
To: freedom1st
Well, he's kinda back. Still at the ranch. He started the show by asking if they were still on MSNBC. And then he asked if Donahue had been fired yet.

Imus says MSNBC is going to replace Donahue with Magic Johnson and Chevy Chase.

amazing....everytime I've flipped by the networks, they're doing murder/missing people/serial killer stories. (I wonder if the Levy family attended the candlelight vigil for the missing pregnant woman in Modesto?)
and WALMART is a Today Show sponsor....aren't you interested in that? I missed Edwards Today Show announcement...how did Ken doll do? What an egotistical jackass...he might be running for president because he knows he's in danger of losing his senate re-election bid.
John Cusack is an idiot liberal in real life, but shame on me, I think he's adorable, even hawking a tedious "deeply moral" movie ("Max"), with the tedious Harry Smith on CBS.
(If the frivilous networks are ignoring in depth world news, why shouldn't I?

Thank you. You have reminded me why my clicker won't go to the fluff channels in the AM. Actually, they seldom go there at any time of the day.

As much as I enjoy the Holidays ----- I'll be so glad when Boortz, Rush and Hannity are back on the air. We must tell them that all 3 of them can NOT take vacations at the same time again!! Too much has been happening while they were off the air -- we need at least one of them to stick around!!

From FOX & Friends: Pretty boy, pretty boy, John Edwards, first term senator, has been making big, trial lawyer bucks since 1978, winning some huge multi-million dollar settlements. And he's going to run as a lawyer protecting the little guy? From who....other trial lawyers?
"at the end of the day". ohmigawd, John Edwards used that trite term! (Fox & Friends already has clip of his NBC announcement)
ABC identifies Edwards as a "personal injury" attorney. Wonder if he ran ads on tv back in his early days as a lawyer? His little girls are adorable! His cute factor and the story of his dead teenage son is definitely worth votes. (But I'm still 100% sure John Kerry will be the democrat nominee. Edwards and Graham are just "out there" for VP consideration. Trust me.)
Sometimes Juan Williams is funny. He laughed when Steve Ducey the weather guy, asked if Edwards was a threat to President Bush. He was funny too when he said Daschle was not "damaged goods". (Maybe he misunderstood the question.)

Sam Donaldson won't do? I think he stuck around for the holidays. WMAL was replaying one of his programs the other night that I happen to catch in the car. HE IS AWFUL! Not a bad guy, it's just that he has so few listeners that he tries to please anyone who calls in.
I did enjoy Walter Williams (in for Rush) earlier in the week.

"I want to be a champion for regular people", says John Edwards, "something he's been doing for his whole life."
Isn't that a hoot? and soooooooo condescending!!
Even Imus is making fun of the slow news day...nicorette scare, Edwards announcing..."what about Osama?", he asks.
Belly dancing on CBS, you don't want to miss that.

Happy New Year everybody. Ready to get back to work?
From today's SCUM report. It's been confirmed that Tom Cruise is allergic to cats.
Correction. Make that pussy.

If you missed Juan Williams comments on F n F, you missed a good belly laugh! What a great way to start the day.
Happy New Year, lp. As a special favor to me, could you cheer for the Hawkeyes tonite?
To: McGruff
I missed that and am afraid to ask you to expand on it. Howard Fineman comin' up!
To: McGruff
Who'd have ever guessed? You can tell by the look on his face, it's all about HIM.
To: Iowa Granny
Same to you, IG. There is more football to come? I'll cheer for 'em anyway.
To: leadpenny
Janice Dean was giving her scum report. Reported Tom Cruise is allergic to cats. Imus chimed in "he's not allergic to cats, just pussy".
Fineman says that if Lott had handled his resignation better he may have gotten a chairmanship, but since he blew it, he ended up with nothing.
