Good evening all;
First off: happy b-day to Corin and SuziQ; Corin-you ain't stopped havin' 'em yet, I did, sometime back.
2JM: first the car then the coop, thought about lightening rods?
RMD: sorry bout the computer; thought about web-tv?
g'nad: so that's where you are, heading to the northland for cooler weather, eh? Should be a good fireworks show at the river. I worked on bridge job there in the late 70's.
Overtaxed; got your rucksack packed, cloak and walking staff ready?
Hair: we got Samantha's "medicine" as well, she taken to sniffing the air to see if any have been shot off recently before she decides if she really wants to leave the porch and go for a walk.
Hit a 100 downtown today, heat index - well, there was a vinyl car seat alert on the radio.

Corin-you ain't stopped havin' 'em yet... I keep tryin' but I have two boys that keep remindin' me and a wife who rolls over at midnight and says "you're older than me," which of course I am for the next 16 days.
But I told her when we met time stood still for me and she got caught up...

well, there was a vinyl car seat alert on the radio.Say what? I don't remember ever getting any of those down in S. Mississippi! The first car SSQ and I had (it was mine, he says he married me for my car; he must have been REALLY hard up for wheels!) was a 1968 American Motors Rebel. It was appropriately grey with BLACK vinyl seats. You can just imagine how hot those suckers got in the summer in MS, then Tallahassee when he was in Grad School!
I won't even LOOK at a car with leather seats because I have such bad memories of searing legs on hot vinyl!
