We also swung by a Baskin-Robbins...not the new one...an old one that I had a bad experience with one time before (crunchy crystals in my ice cream...refrozen you know).

I had the most intense conversation with the ice cream guy. I'm not kidding. This is how it went.

Him-"Can I help you?"
Me-"Do you have Jamoca Almond Fudge?"
Him-"One scoop?"
Me-"Two."
Him-"Anything else?"
Me-"On a sugar cone."
Him-"I will not forget you. When you come again, I'll know you and what you ordered."

I swear it was just like that...verbatim. This guy was hunkered down over the ice cream and staring into my eyes and talking to me like this was the most important thing in the world. And I responded just the same.

When he said that about not forgetting me, I believed him.

Steve gave him a dollar tip.
