Perhaps there's nothing you can say. Everyone involved is sure they are right and everyone else is wrong. Unfortunately we're all a load of stiff-necked self-centered jerks. Or at least, I am. I think there's probably some fault on all sides, and I wish some things had not been said yesterday, but darn it all....

Of course not.... but we know that the final issue raised that threatens friendships with this much history are always only a token issue - a label for some underlying problem... People are more complex than the one-liners they use as weapons.
