The sun is sorta' shining. Peeking out from behind clouds. Forcast is 50/50 for rain so we'll see. No foundation yet, grrrr.

We finally have a lovely sunny day here, but it's supposed to rain AGAIN tonight!! I'm gonna put some grass seed down after our son finishes mowing. I treated it, so supposedly it will germinate quickly. That's great because I want to fill in some spots in the yard quickly.
Good luck getting your foundations dug!! We're considering not putting a big basement in our new house. If we build new, we'll put in a small basement area for utilities, manifolds for the radiant heating system, etc. but we don't particularly like basements, so we're just gonna do a pier and slab foundation system. We have to have piers because of the frost heaves, and we'll do a trench system with a short wall around the slab, but we're not gonna dig a big hole and have to go and back fill it, etc.
