Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

Well, if you think you must dear. I haven't had mascara in years ... but you are a bit younger than me. Maybe I was your age then. LOL
I always try to go for getting my hair to behave. It just doesn't. And on the days I want it too.... it's always worst.

Oh man, you have to see more then the pipping. My children and husband laughed at me today. I have a stephascope (sp?) that I keep for the horses. Today I was listening to my eggs:) Do you know, should I be able to hear something, if so what? I did hear something in one that I never heard in the others, but it might have been my imagination.
I candled them again today, I think I have 3 that are not growing, but left them in just in case. I always have trouble taking them out and shutting of the incubator when there are still eggs. I always think "maybe" but after a while I shut it off and gently lay the duds in the trash can. Never had the courage to look inside one.
Did I mention that you can hear the chickes peeping the day before they hatch? I thought that was so cool.

Where the heck is ksen? We didn't send him enough money to run off...I'm here, I'm here. I had connection troubles for the last few days.
Well everyone, I put the deposit down and should be getting the paperwork for the house in the mail in the next couple weeks.
The real estate office that manages the property is almost right across the street from the castle so I was able to get a tour. It is very nice. I think you will all enjoy it.
The only drawback I can see is that the nearest hotels are 12-15 miles up the road. So those staying in hotels will have about a 15-20 minute drive to get there.

A good friend of mine is going to be ordained today, and I'm trying to think of a good way of getting out of work for a couple of hours. Dunno if I can do it...pretty early days yet.
