I wanted to go see my favorite local band for my birthday, but they aren't playing tomorrow and my husband has hockey tickets for him and the boys on my actual birthday...the 15th. So it looks like we're going out to eat somewhere tomorrow, and if so, I'd just soon have the boys with us. I do get the evening to myself on Sat!!

LOL I remember being younger and thinking "What a bummer." if I had to stay home alone on my birthday. Now, I look forward to it!

WOW! Your birthday's on Saturday too. I wish I could just run up there and hang out for an hour or so......... bringing a cheesecake of course!

Know what you mean about the staying home thoughts. For years and years I've had a large birthday reputation. I've celebrated with multiple parties/dinners/lunches for years. What a surprise to old friends now who discover that the schedule includes an evening at home. (Although even with all the years of weeks of celebration my birthday itself has always been reserved for going out with my Grama!)
