Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Journey to the Cross-roads
The Two Towers Edition
Come on! Come in! -if you would like to have some seedcakes and a pint and relax a while. (If it is a special occasion, we still have a few bottles of the old wineyards left!)
Our first thread ( New Zealander builds Hobbit hole ) reached 4,100 posts, and we thought that was big. Our second thread (The New Hobbit Hole ) held us for over 48,000 posts, and we loved it dearly. We talked about moving to a new thread for the last 38,000 posts, but we are really slow to muster! Finally, the time has come. Tomorrow (at 12:01 am, to be precise!) The Two Towers comes out, and we start a new chapter.

You are as twisted as I am, and I like that!
52 degrees and pouring out here.
I am getting dressed to go out, and see if my friend's problems are really worth me doing jail time over.
The steak will be good regardless!
See y'all later!

Heck, Thursday night it is supposed to get to the teens here in Florida, with a windchill in the single digits. This is not why I moved to Florida!

Hi LCS! Nice to see you! Gee, maybe there's something to this global cooling thing the environazis are always on about! It hasn't been cold like this in years! They must be right, the SUVs are killing - wait, it was global warming?! Why are they complaining? Melt the icebergs now!

What a sweet husband. Mine has been tolerant of my buying most of those things for myself. And he tolerates me watching the movie over and over. It is going in the background in one or the other room most of the time. At least I have the kids enjoying it with me. ( and then I have the CD FOTR at work to listen to)

Is it really going to be freezing down there tonight? No, not till tomorrow and the end of the week.

Yeah I saw that. At work I've got the 4 day forecast from KC on my homepage. I suppose I should work on my woodpile in the cold this weekend to get acclimated. :)

now I'm kinda wishing I'd followed music... to create beauty and joy for others...So what are you waiting for? You're still a young man; you can do whatever you want! If you're retiring from the Corps, what else were you planning on doing?

Hey Suzi, how is that TTT soundtrack? I was thinking of getting it, but what really is different about it from the LOTR one, except for the Gollum theme....????
I suppose I'll have to wait till you catch up on all the posts..... *twiddling thumbs* ;^)
